From The Shadow of the Citadel  2005

A whimsical folk rock exploration; impressionistic flutework floating over light jazz and folk- rock guitar work. Featuring singer/songwriters Jane Sytek on various flutes, vocals and hammered dulcimer and Rick Davies on vocals, 6-12 string acoustic/electric guitars, and world percussion, this project offers a fresh look at the folk-rock idiom. Also offering up appearances from classical viola/violin player Bruce Dauser and bass player Bob Hiddema, this is by some accounts the best work Sytek and Davies have produced to date.
